Hace 2 días · The heiress of John Giles, Esq., who died in 1676, married Sir Richard Gipps. There was a family of the same name settled at Dean Prior, soon after the Reformation. Sir Edward Giles, who died in 1642, and has a monument in Dean Prior church, seems to have been the last of this family.
