Hace 5 días · DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE CHURCH. The LADY CHAPEL is vaulted in three bays with a modern stone ribbed vault, replacing the wooden vault set up by Hugh of Eversdon about 1310. It forms part of the eastward extension of the church which was begun about 1257, but for reasons already given was the last part to be undertaken.
