Hace 23 horas · Next on our agenda was Windsor Castle, the highlight of our visit. The castle was absolutely gorgeous, giving an aura of grandeur and history. It was well maintained with beautiful grounds too. I've never been particularly intrigued by castles before, but after teaching a topic on them to my class this year, I found myself much more interested.

It is the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world. I loved the Changing Of The Guard, walking around the state apartments and St. George’s Chapel where Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip are buried.

Hace 3 días · You get to see the State Apartments and St. George's Chapel. There is so much history and elegance to the Castle. There was audio guide which was very nice touch and provided lot of history and insights. You get to see a lot and I recommend to allocate 90-120 minutes to the experience. St. George's Chapel was also so historical and informational.
