Hace 9 horas · Knowledge of the super-sensible is one traditional way to define metaphysical knowledge; and things, insofar as we are not sensorily related to them, are things-in-themselves. Hence transcendental idealism is both an expression of empiricism (no knowledge except via the senses) and rejection of metaphysics (qua knowledge of the super-sensible).
