Hace 5 días · The chapel of the Carnarie or Charnel-house at Worcester, dedicated in honour of St. Thomas the Martyr, was built by William of Blois, Bishop of Worcester. (fn. 71) In 1265 his successor, Walter Cantilupe, endowed a chantry of three chaplains in this chapel.
