About a 10 minutes walk from both. If you're doing all the west London tourist stuff, Whitechapel will actually get you there quicker, because it's on the Elizabeth line. However, Angel and Old Street are both much nicer areas. The hotel is sort of in the no mans land in between. But you can walk to both.
