A magical, motherly British woman goes on adventures with kids and the dad from Poppins, combining live action and animation, to defeat the Nazis. Hace 1 día · It doesn’t hold a candle to Mary Poppins, which is its main problem. If it weren’t for that, it’d be fine. I rate Mary Poppins (1964) just above it. Poppins is the blueprint of this type of film. It is iconic and lasts in our culture. Bedknobs and Broomsticks (1971) suffers if you expect it to be that first Poppins experience.
