Hace 5 días · Our study showed that the expression of selected genes in the honey bee Apis mellifera is altered in different ways after exposure to electric fields (E-field). Most of those expression changes, which are mainly related to mitochondrial metabolism and energy production, were measurable only 7 days after a 1- or 3 h exposure.
