Macartney's magisterial history of the Habsburg Monarchy, where he relates commenting on the absence of such a history to A.F. Pribram in the 1920s, and being told that 'everyone' noticed the gap, but gave up trying it themselves because they 'didn't have eleven languages'.

En la localidad de Peleas de Arriba, población de Zamora, nació Fernando, hijo de Alfonso IX de León y de Berenguela I de Castilla. Bajo el nombre de Fernando III, unió los dos tronos que heredó y se dedicó a la recuperación de la península en poder del Islam.
