On the law published in “Harmonices Mundi,” he wrote, “Let it await its reader for a hundred years, if God Himself has been ready for His contemplator for six thousand years.”

Kepler Space Telescope is a satellite launched into space on March 7th 2009, by N.A.S.A. Although intended to work for three and a half years, it is still going strong seven years on. Named after Johannes Kepler, whose contribution to astronomy was his laws of planetary motion.
