Kirk Douglas ('Lonely Are the Brave') Such a good actor. ‘The Last Cowboy’ is what Douglas wanted to title the picture. Beautiful movie no matter what title it has. Dalton Trumbo script is top notch. If I recall correctly, a favorite of Douglas himself. I have seen this movie several times. One of my favorites.
