Hace 5 días · Lord Mountbatten, a cousin to the UK ’s late Queen Elizabeth II and a grand-uncle to King Charles III, was killed in Mullaghmore, Co. Sligo in the summer of 1979. Also killed were Mountbatten’s 14-year-old grandson Nicholas Knatchbull; Doreen Knatchbull, Nicholas’s grandmother and Paul Maxwell, a teenage boy from Enniskillen serving as crew.
