Laptop for Data Science Programs. Discussion. Hi, I was wondering what type of laptop would be recommended for data science program (entering first year). Heard a touchscreen might be good (e.g. Surface) and SFU is Microsoft shop. However, have always had good luck with Mac laptops (good support and long lasting, better OS imo).
