The Library, 1623–5, is of architectural interest for the premeditated use of revived Gothic forms in the reign of James I.

John Still, Master 1574–7, had many difficulties with refractory fellows, and in 1590 the Master, William Whitaker, and the fellows are found writing to the Chancellor, denying that a presbytery had been set up in the College.
