Hace 1 día · Turns 20. A new adventure in the Pegasus Galaxy began twenty years ago today, as the launch of a spin-off series turned Stargate into a full-fledged franchise. Today marks twenty years since Stargate Atlantis made its debut. (Yes — like me, you really are that old!) The series premiere, “Rising,” aired as a 2-hour movie on July 16, 2004.

Hace 1 día · 22,406. 21 minutes ago. #1. Wait, 20 years? Goddamn. A show I watch every now and then, pure comfort sci-fi. It was filmed in HD and holds up shockingly well. CG is excellent for the time. Arguably a bit formulaic, the cast had great chemistry and were just as fun as the original SG-1.
