Sherwood started a label, On-U Sound, that was dedicated to dub, and he put together a house band called Creation Rebel, who recorded six albums between 1978 and 2023. The music that Sherwood and Creation Rebel created was a unique style of dub.

Together with pioneering dub DJ Adrian Sherwood, Creation Rebel developed their own style of dub music in the late 70s and early 80s, and now six of their albums are being reissued for a new generation of dub enthusiasts.
