Hace 5 días · Answer: Always Where I Need to Be The Kooks launched into their sophomore album, "Konk", quite quickly. Rolling out of the success of "Inside In / Inside Out", "Konk" hit the stores in 2008 and provided a more refined sound for the band, now able to work with a less scrappy edge.

In het eerste halfuur werden bijgevolg geen onbekende nummers gespeeld en dat is ook een beetje hoe The Kooks zich tegenwoordig positioneert. De groep speelt in op nostalgische sferen en maakt daar ook het beste van.

Hace 3 días · The Kooks gaan nog steeds mee en dat kan lang niet iedere band zeggen met wie ze sinds 2005 menig festival affiche hebben gedeeld. Al bijna twintig jaar zijn ze onderweg en ondertussen heeft een nieuwe generatie fans zich weten te binden want The Kooks gaan met hun tijd mee.

Waiting for the next big thing, knowing I have no power to make it happen.
