Hace 3 días · Fredrerick Clark Withers had emigrated from England to the United States in 1851 to work for Andrew Jackson Downing (Downing Park in Newburgh was one of his designs). After Downing died in a steamboat accident on the Hudson River, Withers worked with Calvert Vaux (more on Vaux later).
