Hace 5 días · They run great on small lakes, but are miserable in rough water. All the Exciters have 2-stroke engines. This means that oil is injected into the carburetors and burned in the cylinders. The engines are well proven in Yamaha’s Waverunner PWC’s, but 2-stroke engines are not allowed in a few lakes because of pollution concerns.

Hace 4 días · The choke cables on all Yamaha boats have a plastic casing that shrinks. This makes it harder to choke the engines as the boat ages and makes them harder to start when cold. Installing primers is the solution. Cold engines typically start in 2 seconds. The Exciter is not the boat to have in rough water.
