The one that immediately comes to mind are those nice stems framing the crypt keeper on the ad for Bordello of Blood. I remember if I was walking by my parents with a comic in hand and it had that rear cover I'd always angle the comic where the front cover was facing them. Hiding the shame of holding sexy lady legs.
