Hace 4 días · In 1967 Florence Ballard was fired from The Supremes for alcohol and weight issues amongst other reasons. She was replaced by Cindy Birdsong from Patti LaBelle and the Blue-Bells. Mr Gordy renamed the group Diana Ross & the Supremes. Mr Gordy worked Miss Ross in particular very hard with many appearances booked mostly without the other Supremes.

Hace 5 días · Answer: Shotgun. "Shotgun" is one of Motown's most flat-out 'fun' songs. First off, the music is great--funky with a soulful saxophone solo. That's fun. Then you have to imagine his girl dressed in high heels while she's out in the backyard digging up potatoes and picking tomatoes. That's kind of fun.
