It all started in 1934 with the first Don the Beachcomber tiki restaurant, and was rejuvenated in the mid-90's with the printing of The Book of Tiki by Sven Kirsten. Pull up a chair, sip your Mai Tai, and study the tapa-covered ceiling while listening to the sounds of the Hukilau.
Fun little place but drinks nothing special. A little over an hour away in Madeira FL there is the new Don the Beachcomber that had excellent drinks aswell as a coconut, some glassware, and Swizzles, also had a high end mug out of my price range of Don sitting in a wicker chair Sneaky Tiki pictured below
