Hace 2 días · The statue, which is of Craigleith stone, was sculptured by Edward Hodges Baily and was raised in November, 1843. The four bronze bas-relief panels to the square pedestal depict the Battle of St. Vincent, the Battle of the Nile, the Bombardment of Copenhagen and the death of Nelson.
