Solid color layer 1, clip layer 2, highlight both, right click to create new compound clip, right click compound, edit in timeline…adjust your border to taste, when done click (double click?)(bottom left hand) to go back to main timeline and treat as a normal clip with border.

Seems like there are other positives as well like lower risk of some cancers and avoiding weight gain. At what age do get a puppy up on a table and get him used to having his paws handled, brushed, dryer noise/feel (don’t have a dryer yet).
