Henry Hyde, father of the First Earl of Clarendon, and brother of Sir Lawrence (II) Hyde, appears also to have presented on at least one occasion. The church of Dinton was assessed for the taxation of Pope Nicholas in 1291 at £16 13s. 4d. In 1320 and 1428 it was valued at the same sum.
