Joan Wasser (born July 26, 1970) is an American musician, singer-songwriter and producer who releases music as Joan As Police Woman. She began her career playing violin with the Dambuilders and played with Black Beetle, Antony and the Johnsons , and Those Bastard Souls .
10 de abr. de 2018 · During much of the Nineties Wasser played with the Dambuilders, a grunge-influenced band with whom she developed her electric-violin technique. Her life changed in 1997 when her boyfriend, the singer Jeff Buckley, accidentally drowned in Memphis.
