Hace 2 días · From Mingus to DUQ. When I heard that composer and bassist Charlie Mingus was going to play at the Encore in Shadyside, I was thrilled. I was a big Mingus fan. My claim to fame was that Mingus had me turn the pages on his music stand during a gig at the Village Vanguard. We arranged to have a live feed of the Encore performance.
