Ward have announced that Paul Rose, associate dean for strategic initiatives at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, will begin as dean of Case Western Reserve University School of Law July 1, pending Board of Trustees approval next month.

That was third among Ohio schools, behind Moritz (24th) and the University of Cincinnati College of Law (78th). CWRU’s bar passage rate in February was 56%, which ranked fifth out of Ohio’s nine law schools. CWRU also ranked fifth in July of 2023 at 68%.
