I can’t do anything with that name without Roger McGuinn because he was at least 50 per cent of The Byrds and everybody knows it – me especially.

His piano work on this eight-song set is right up there with Jerry Lee Lewis’, and his impassioned wails, whoops and hollers sound like the cries of a man possessed. Hace 3 días · McGuinn then wrote a song around the lyrics. Roger recorded the tune with him on guitar and Byrds member Gene Parsons on harmonica, and the track was heard over Easy Rider ’s closing credits.
