  5. From a long view, the movie is problematic because, if you strip away all the Satanic trappings, the film is about a woman who gets drugged and raped. That is particularly unsettling as, famously, Polanski was later charged with drugging & raping a girl. Rosemary's baby was a massive success.

  7. Jacob’s Ladder. The original Omen. Rosemary’s Baby. A Nightmare on Elm Street 3. Jaws. Jurassic Park (if it counts as horror. I list it as horror for the tension-building before the T-Rex attack and that friggin kitchen scene…oh and when Ellie goes out to find Samuel L. Jackson….yeah, ok, it’s horror, and 10/10 for me.
