In fact, AHS: Delicate pays homage to the iconic 1968 film in its penultimate episode, in which we see a fictionalized Frank Sinatra (Tom O'Keefe) threaten to divorce Mia Farrow (Gaby Slape) if she does not stop working on Rosemary's Baby .
Hace 2 días · Farrow's first leading film role was in the psychological horror film Rosemary's Baby (1968), which was a critical and commercial success. It is highly regarded as a classic of the horror genre, and named the second-best horror film of all time (after Psycho) by The Guardian in 2010.
From a long view, the movie is problematic because, if you strip away all the Satanic trappings, the film is about a woman who gets drugged and raped. That is particularly unsettling as, famously, Polanski was later charged with drugging & raping a girl. Rosemary's baby was a massive success.

Jacob’s Ladder. The original Omen. Rosemary’s Baby. A Nightmare on Elm Street 3. Jaws. Jurassic Park (if it counts as horror. I list it as horror for the tension-building before the T-Rex attack and that friggin kitchen scene…oh and when Ellie goes out to find Samuel L. Jackson….yeah, ok, it’s horror, and 10/10 for me.
