Hace 2 días · Samantha Sloyan is effortlessly charming as Mom, Jane. We get both sitcom motherly goodness and slackstick joy from Sloyan. She is a dynamo. Ward Roberts wears all the hats on this project. Besides writing and directing, he plays Howie Jenkins with a sweet, accessible enthusiasm as the bumbling Dad doing his best. His physicality wins the film.

Hace 4 días · When we turn to Howie’s family, they’re not given nearly as much to do, but actresses Samantha Sloyan and Bo Roberts are still totally convincing in these roles. In particular, I was really surprised by Bo Roberts. She plays Howie’s daughter and she’s miles ahead of your typical hit-or-miss child actor.
Hace 2 días · Amongst the lesser participants it’s clear that Mike Flanagan regular Samantha Sloyan is a cut above the rest, providing a much-needed steady hand to temper some of the less controlled work of others. The plot progression is surely limited, but it’s what happens in between the moving parts that really matters.

One night while in between gigs, their house is visited by a rather strange looking alien named Chuck (also voiced by Ward), who convinces Howie to swap bodies in hopes of saving Earth.
