Hace 5 días · The Syro-Malabar Church traces its origin to St Thomas the Apostle, who came to India in 52 AD and established a Church. Its members are called St Thomas Christians. It is one of the four Oriental Churches having in common the East Syrian Liturgical tradition.

CSI Syrian Christians are a minority faction of Malankara Syrian Christians, who joined the Anglican Church in 1836, and eventually became part of the Church of South India in 1947, after Indian independence.
