On May 23rd, 1928, Singer and actress Rosemary Clooney was born in Maysville, KY. Clooney rose to prominence in the early 50s, with pop and jazz numbers. In 1954, she starred, along with Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, and Vera-Ellen, in the musical film, White Christmas.
