Hace 1 día · This was first explained by Christian Huygens in a principle that is now called the Huygens-Fresnel principle. Put simply, Huygens discovered that every point on the wavefront (the edge of the waves) can be considered a source of semi-circular waves and that the new wavefront at a certain distance in time is tangent to all the new secondary waves (“Diffraction,”).

Additional reduction in its radar signature was achieved by the use of various radar-absorbent materials (RAM) to absorb and neutralize radar beams.
