I don’t think Ice Age 5 is a good movie. But there is one subplot that I think gets a bit unfairly scrutinized, Manny and Ellie being overly clingy to their daughter, Peaches. The criticism I’ve heard is that they tried to sabotage Peaches’s wedding so that they can have her all to themselves. First off, that isn’t what happened.
