I love the Karl Urban Dredd but the first 15 minutes of the '95 film plays exactly like a story you'd have read in an issue of 2000AD. Guy gets out of prison, gets dropped off in a shit part of MC1 right when a block war starts up and decides to hide in a service droid to avoid the violence...Dredd shows up, kills the perps, and guy gets sent back to the cubes for tampering with city products.
