In the 19th century, the city became an important transport hub after the discovery of natural cement in the region, and had both railroad and canal connections.

While I work from home, there’s plenty going on in Kingston to keep me entertained, and it’s an easy 20 minute walk from my house to Rough Drafts, the coffeeshop/bookstore where I sit writing this newsletter update. Kingston is beautiful, walkable, calm and full of art.
