Hace 2 días · 東京美術学校は、伝統的な日本美術の保護を目的としたため、学科は日本画科と木彫科のみで構成されており、教官に橋本雅邦（はしもとがほう）ら、生徒に横山大観（よこやまたいかん）らを迎え、天心とフェノロサの理念通りの学校となります。 当初は西洋美術を視野に入れていなかったものの、やがて西洋画への関心が高まり、明治29（1896）年に西洋画科と図案科が新設され、黒田清輝（くろだせいき）らが教官として就任しました。 黒田は石膏・人体の木炭デッサンを基礎とする教育を行い、西洋画の教育方針をつくりあげたといいます。 この後、天心の学校運営への批判が明治31（1898）年の「美術学校騒動」※として表面化し、退任した教官たちが日本美術院※を結成しました。 ※美術学校騒動……
