Charles was so scared of his dad that he married Diana (in his eyes he was bullied to do his"duty") - and that was awful. Diana also married her sister's boyfriend, although she didn't know him. Maybe he also saw him as a ptize (she beated her sister and she was going to be a faritail Princess). Poor girl was too young.

After the Dissolution the estate eventually passed to George Potts, who in 1666 granted it, described as a grange called Nun Pallions, to Henry Thompson.
