Atwood lived in a ménage à trois with the dramatist Christabel Marshall and the actress, theatre director, producer and costume designer Edith Craig from 1916 until Craig's death in 1947.
2 de jun. de 2022 · Tal día como hoy, el 11 de mayo de 1866, nació en el barrio londinense de Richmond la pintora británica Clare Atwood, también llamada “Tony” Atwood. Estudió en la Westminster School of Art y en la Slade School of Fine Art. Su primera exposición tuvo lugar en 1893 en el New English Art Club, del cual fue miembro desde el año 1912.
