Rt. Hon. Lord Claud John Hamilton PC (20 February 1843 – 26 January 1925) was a British Member of Parliament (MP) during the Victorian era, and a noted railway director.

Lord Claud Hamilton was created a peer by King James VI and received from him a grant of the Barony of Paisley, followed by the gift of the rich Abbey of Paisley. He was created Lord Paisley on July 29, 1587, and is the ancestor of the Dukes of Abercorn (see below).
