Mellow Lane School was a comprehensive school, located in Hayes, in the London Borough of Hillingdon, Middlesex. It closed in 2011 and reopened in August of that year, as Hewens College.
Hewens College (formerly Mellow Lane School) is a secondary school with academy status in Hayes, Hillingdon. It is part of the Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust The school caters for years 7–13, teaching KS3, KS4 and A Level.

4 de sept. de 1998 · PUPILS at Mellow Lane school in Uxbridge, Middlesex, found everything radically different when they returned for the 1948 autumn term. Not only had two single-sex schools combined after 10 years of separate existence, there was also a strange new sign at the entrance: Mellow Lane comprehensive school.

Name: Mellow Lane School, Hayes Park. Date: 1938. Architect: Curtis and Burchett. Borough: Hillingdon. Listing: Notes: Hayes based MCC school built in 1938. It was extended in 1948 and turned into one of the first Comprehensive schools in the country. Now known as Hewens College.
