Jamie Bulloch (born 6 September 1969) is a British historian and translator of German literature, with over fifty published titles to his name, and twice winner of the Schlegel-Tieck prize . Life and work. Bulloch was born at East Dulwich Hospital, London, in 1969 and grew up in Tooting.

Its landscaped roof terrace is the ideal spot for city gazing – but not on a chilly November day. I was there to meet Jamie Bulloch and Katharina Bielenberg, two passionate champions of German literature who also happen to be husband and wife.
Jamie Bulloch is a promising defender with an eye for goal. The youngster was constant in Gareth Evans’ U18s last year – scoring a brace against Hearts in a 4-2 win back in January 2023. Bulloch signed his first professional contract with the club in summer 2023 and has featured predominantly for the U18s and Development Squad this season.

His translations include books by Paulus Hochgatterer, Alissa Walser, Timur Vermes, Friedrich Christian Delius and Linda Stift. Jamie won the 2014 Schlegel-Tieck Prize for Best German Translation for Birgit Vanderbeke’s The Mussel Feast.
