Detlef Weinrich, alias Toulouse Low Trax, too, seems to have lingered in the irrational universe of frozen continuity quite frequently within the last two years. Everyone who drifts to the sound of his first solo album "Mask Talk" will soon sense the musical intensity boding a different dancefloor.
2 de mar. de 2023 · One of the founders of Düsseldorf's famed Salon Des Amateurs, Detlef Weinrich AKA Tolouse Low Trax helped spur a quiet dance music revolution. Alongside residents like Lena Wilikens, Vladimir Ivkovic and Jan Schulte, the art-school cafe turned club has had an outsized influence on clubland.
Since 2010 Detlef Weinrich has been making music under his current imprint Tolouse Low Trax. He has been releasing wonderfully vulnerable, rough-melancholy music on labels like Karaoke Kalk, Apparent Extent, Themes for Great Cities and most recently Antinote.
