Returned to the Comets in 1968 as lead guitar player and worked with the group off-and-on between 1968 and 1974. Later fronted a version of Bill Haley's Comets that toured the U.S. in 1977-1978 while Haley was in temporary retirement. Father of musician Sia La Belle.
