Gisela Martine Getty (née Schmidt; born 3 April 1949) is a German photographer, film director, designer, and author. She is known for her involvement in the German '68-movement , along with her late sister, Jutta Winkelmann.

Born in 1949 in Kassel, Germany, like her twin sister Jutta she is known as a representative of the ’68 movement. Gisela agreed to marry Paul Getty very shortly before he was kidnapped in Rome in 1973.
