The American School in Japan (ASIJ; Japanese: アメリカンスクール・イン・ジャパン) is an international private day school located in the city of Chōfu, Tokyo, Japan. The school consists of an elementary school, a middle school, and a high school, all located on the Chōfu campus.
Moving to Japan? Choose the right international school for your children, and join the ASIJ community. Admissions are open for both the K-12 Chofu campus and Early Learning Center (nursery, pre-school, kindergarten) in Roppongi. Applications can be submitted online.

31 de oct. de 2023 · Founded in 1902, The American School in Japan (ASIJ) is a private, coeducational day school, serving students from nursery (age 3) to grade 12 on two campuses: the Early Learning Center (nursery, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten) in Roppongi and the Chofu campus in western Tokyo (kindergarten-grade 12).
The American School in Japan (ASIJ) is an independent, co-educational day school serving students of all nationalities. Founded in 1902, ASIJ offers an American-style college preparatory education for the children of international families, including those on temporary assignment, as well as families who make Tokyo their permanent home.
ASIJ is the only international school in Kanto with the space to deliver a fully-rounded, experiential academic and co-curricular program, but many of the core facilities on our Chofu campus were designed and built in the 1960s.
