Ernst Carl Julius Albrecht (29 June 1930 – 13 December 2014) was a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union and a former high-ranking European civil servant. He was one of the first European civil servants appointed in 1958 and served as Director-General of the Directorate-General for Competition from 1967 to 1970.
Ernst Carl Julius Albrecht war ein deutscher Politiker. Er war von Februar 1976 bis Juni 1990 Ministerpräsident von Niedersachsen.

Ernst Albrecht war der erste CDU-Ministerpräsident in Niedersachsen – wenn auch ohne parlamentarische Mehrheit. Er bildete zunächst ein Rumpfkabinett mit den Ministern Walther Leisler Kiep, Wilfried Hasselmann, Hermann Schnipkoweit, Gerhard Glup und Werner Remmers.
