Jordan of Hauteville (died 1092) was the eldest son and bastard of Roger I of Sicily. A fighter, he took part, from an early age, in the conquests of his father in Sicily.

La Casa de Altavilla o Casa de Hauteville es una dinastía normanda que gobernó Sicilia entre los años 1061/91 y 1194. Su denominación proviene del pueblo de Hauteville, en Cotentin , solar de Tancredo de Hauteville y de sus hijos Roberto Guiscardo y Roger Bosso, este último primer conde de Sicilia.
Roger's eldest son, Jordan of Hauteville, had wanted to command the expedition against Malta but Roger decided to go in person, possibly because he feared that his son might defect to the Muslims. Roger's ship arrived first since it was faster than the others, and he initially disembarked with thirteen knights.

Jordan was made lord of Noto and count of Syracuse and there he died, of fever, probably in 1092. Despite having inherited all the Hauteville attributes which had made their rule in the Mezzogiorno all but inevitable, he had not been in line for the succession on account of his illegitimacy until his brother Geoffrey became a leper, then he had been designated heir apparent.
