Elysium Fire is a 2018 hard science fiction novel by Welsh author Alastair Reynolds. It is a direct sequel to Aurora Rising, taking place in the Revelation Space universe. Reynolds has stated that the novel requires no previous knowledge of Aurora Rising, functioning as a standalone work.

is a 2018 science fiction novel by Welsh author Alastair Reynolds. A sequel to Aurora Rising, it is the sixth novel set in the Revelation Space universe, and the second in the A Prefect Dreyfus Emergency spinoff series. It marks Reynolds' first major return to the Revelation Space universe after a decade-long gap.
A brief short story - Open and Shut - that acts as a prequel to the novel (or a midquel between it and the previous novel) was published on the Gollancz website in early 2018, prior to the novels date of publication.
